She was born and brought up in India. She first started doodling the art when she was 11 years old. It all started in 1993 when her aunt was learning henna and had some books through which Manisha got inspired and started practicing henna by herself. She then learnt it professionally. She believes there is a soulful and traditional connect when she does henna. She uses 100% organic henna and is all home made which results in dark stain.
